Kona and T-Bone continue their journey

This weekend two Love Dogs passed their Pet Partners renewal evaluations and we are thrilled they will continue volunteering with our program.

Kona had to test twice, first with Kristi and then with Hope! It is interesting to see how the dog is a bit different with each handler.  Kona worked for several years with very challenged children. Now she is looking forward to taking on a new population, perhaps working with seniors.

And T-Bone just loved showing what he has learned over the last two years. T-Bone volunteers at a hospital and rehab center and will continue with these assignments.

Pet Partners requires full retesting of handler and animal every two years and the best part of renewals is seeing the tremendous growth at both ends of the leash.

I want to also thank Pumpernickel for being an outstanding Neutral Dog – his first time in this role but definitely not his last!
