George has been a Love Dog for years now and we are still learning new things about him. He likes to sit with his back against something so he is not surrounded. He likes to be read to and really “listens.” And this week in class he enjoyed being brushed the most, by several children at once. You just never know what will thrill your dog the most until you see the joy on his face!
Pumpernickel just loves being surrounded by the children. He moves over to sit in front of each one so he can get a better view of the story being read! And this week it was HIS story so he was especially interested.
The best part of having such different dogs in the class is the children learn to appreciate and celebrate their differences. Everyone is different, everyone has something unique and special about them and everyone deserves to be loved and have friends.
