Benny and Petey participated in the Stroke Awareness Fair at one of our partner facilities again this year.

We showed the attendees how we integrate the dogs into occupational, physical, speech and other therapies to assist the patients.

Petey was there for cuddles, petting and small motor skill work.

And Benny was very proud to show the progress he himself has made since December and how he was able to relearn all the skills needed to be a therapy dog. He demonstrated his loose leash walking, working with puzzles, following a myriad of commands and having people brush him with different brushes.

But what he showed everyone the best was how even a dog can get tired more easily and need to take a break and rest.
