RISE Educational Resource Center is open to all students, whether they attend public, charter, alternate school or are home-schooled. This facility offers classes and events for all ages.

READING WITH THE LOVE DOGS –Meet with your favorite Delta Pet Partner “Love Dog Literacy Mentor” and spend an hour reading a new story or book, and learning about “your” dog.

WHEN: Reading with the Love Dogs is held at RISE every Tuesday from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm – it is FREE to all children

EVERYTHING DOG HUMANE EDUCATION CLASS -

Learn how to be responsible pet owners and how to view the world through the eyes of a dog – discussions include various breeds and their characteristics, how to choose the right dog for your family, basic tips for getting your dog off on the right foot in your home, “do dogs have feelings” and “everything dog.” Students SHOULD REGISTER IN ADVANCE.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2013 – Sue presented at the Senior Spaniel rescue event about “The Healing Power of Pets: Animal Assisted Therapy” at 1:00 pm at the Pro Bass Shop at the Silverton.

We had thirteen of our Love Dog teams there and they showed everyone how safe, stable and steady our dogs are … and of course how much they just love working!
